It is great to be back for a new school year! For those students new to AHS – welcome! I am looking forward to meeting you and playing great music together. Here are some highlights as we look ahead:
- We are back in the “new” (as of last year) Orchestra Room across from the cafeteria. This year, we will be using the wide open room for our large classes, and we are working on some options for sectionals.
- We have a new staff member! With Ms. Verdoljak moving to Cooper, Mr. Berdine will join us. He brings a wealth of Orchestra experience, and he is a cellist!
- There will be many, many performance and volunteer opportunities this year. Stay tuned for all of the options!
- While there is not a tour to plan for this year, we can be thinking ahead and dreaming of future trips & destinations.
The year will bring many twists and turns. I look forward to moving forward together!
