Congratulations to all Orchestra members for a great Semester I. Highlights included the performance with the Gustavus Orchestra, the performance at Orchestra Hall, and the Winter Concert. As we look toward the second half of the year, several events are on the near horizon:
Freshman Orchestra: we are moving toward the Middle Level State Festival at Hopkins. We will be going on Tuesday, Feb. 18
Philharmonic Orchestra: we will once again perform at the Empty Bowls Festival taking place March 11 at Sandburg Middle School.
Symphony Orchestra: the Northwest Suburban Conference Music Festival is Monday, February 3 at Champlin Park High School. We look forward to great performances.
In addition, members of all groups are looking forward to the San Antonio Tour from March 20 – 26. Please check the calendar for information regarding rehearsals. In addition, plans are in the works for a rock/jazz concert with the Cooper Orchestra soon after Spring Break.
